Meet Our Team

Glenn Elliott Jr., Broker & Co-Founder
A Wheeling native, Glenn is a 1990 graduate of The Linsly School and a 1994 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business with a focus in finance and political science. In 2001, he received a J.D. degree cum laude from Georgetown University Law Center. He has also received honorary Doctorate degrees from Wheeling University and West Liberty University.
After nearly a decade working as a corporate attorney in the Washington, D.C. area, Glenn returned home to Wheeling in 2009 for a career reset. He opened his own law firm—Elliott Law Offices,
PLLC—focusing on small business formation, estate administration, and real estate transactions. And he purchased the then-vacant, six-story Professional Building in downtown Wheeling as a long-term historic preservation project. His dedication to preservation efforts earned him recognition from the Wheeling City Council in 2014. Today, this once-vacant structure now houses three small businesses. It is also where Glenn resides with his wife Cassandra, their son Harrison, their daughter Harper, and their dog Minkah.
Glenn’s focus on preserving his downtown building drew him into municipal politics, and in 2016, as a first-time political candidate, he was elected Mayor of Wheeling. During his two terms as Mayor (from 2016 to 2024), the City of Wheeling ushered in an unprecedented era of public and private investments in downtown revitalization, new housing construction, parks and recreation enhancements, strategic infrastructure initiatives, and long-overdue new headquarters for its police and fire departments. As a result of his efforts, Wheeling was recognized as one of the fastest-growing economies in West Virginia,
and the West Virginia Municipal League named him the “Mayor of the Year” in 2022 and as the recipient of the “James Hunt Lifetime Achievement Award” in 2023.
In 2018, Glenn decided to shift his career focus from law into real estate, obtaining his West Virginia broker’s license and co-founding Route 40 Realty, LLC to fulfill a need for a dedicated full-service property management company in the Wheeling area. As the company’s broker, Glenn has made customer service—both with respect to clients and tenants—a priority while overseeing steady growth in the company’s client base and number of units managed. He is also a licensed drone pilot.

Bernard J. Lombard III, Realtor & Co-Founder
Bernie’s goal in acquiring properties goes beyond simply making money. He has a strong desire to make his community a better place to live, and in the process he has brought many vacant properties back to life.
In 2015, he purchased the then-vacant building at 1911 Warwood Avenue; today, it houses the very successful Cheese Melt Bar and Grill, along with a local tattoo shop.
And in 2021 he acquired the 60,000 square foot former Box Factory building in Warwood with a goal to first stabilize the building and ultimately convert it into riverfront housing.
In 2023, he purchased the former Campeti’s building at 1219 Market Street that today houses an H&R Block branch office. That same year, he also acquired the former Kings Jewelry building at 1320 Market Street as a historic preservation project.
